the blue leather mary quant coat was the first thing to catch our eye, and then our delightful subject unveiled her graphically pleasing dress and the ensemble reached another level of style.

we've never seen this kind of super stylin' in fresno before, let alone at ihop in the wee hours of a weekend morning. his eclectic mix of colors and prints (a noted trend for runway fashionistas this season) do not overwhelm because of his expertly chosen 'base' of denim and white. he styled his nike's himself, and rather expertly we might add. he made us smile when he unveiled those jazzy 'tigger'-like stripes on his ankles. thank goodness we had a midnight pancake craving.

the variety of stripes, dash of yellow, and houndstooth caught our eye, making us slightly dizzy, but in a very cool way. you can hear mr. graphic hoodie drumming for the fantastic san francisco band love like fire on their website or myspace. enjoy.

the poet aka 'the smirk' (with new rave accents)

favorite poets: ginsberg and li young lee (to name a few). sneaks: nike. recent vinyl purchases include: roxy music, depeche mode, to name but a few.

this budding poet and film artist caught our eye with his snazzy sneaks and fluoro accents. next time savvy hits chicago we'll be sure to photograph the crowd with his tree house party kids and dark wave disco.

just as savvy ventures to berlin, a londoner finds her way to germany's capital. currently on summer break from university, we found her at the stripe out gallery, a joint event hosted by vice magazine and adidas. unfortunately, we missed a detail shot of her 'Stoffbeutel' (bag), featuring prints of anatomical illustrations. nonetheless her dress, white shades and shoes are a summery delight.

the name of this dashing, ginger lad is edwin and he's as charming as he looks, a sculptor-in -training at central st. martins. we couldn't resist a few photos, especially with all the beautiful detail he incorporated into his outfit. first-the great vintage jacket (paternally inherited), with the high row of buttons. then- the excellent t.m. levin shirt, all finished off with a pair of fine, vintage Church's shoes . just grand, if you want to see more of edwin, head over to charterhouse street in farringdon, where he works as a barman.

we couldn't resist capturing a moment of their lazy, people-watching sunday afternoon. we humbly admitted to not speaking very good french, but with the help of our translator and added savvy eye kendra, we all got to talking. when they found out a few of us were american they exclaimed 'george bush,' to which we responded 'noooooooooooooooooooooooo,' with emphatic hand gestures.

vincent glided down the platform and we followed. with the help of our lovely translator kendra, we were able to convey our enthusiasm for his sense of style and received permission to take his photograph. his jacket had a marvelous texture which was difficult to capture in the metro lighting.
