absurdly charming, kevin and vincent are savvy's FIRST in-person encounter with our readers outside of the UK! street-blog regulars, they also happen to be friends with the handsome vincent who was our first parisian shot ever! tres incroyable! it is a small world after all....and a very very friendly one. thank you k and v for making us feel at home in paris, at pop in, and well...everywhere. we shall meet again.

we couldn't resist capturing a moment of their lazy, people-watching sunday afternoon. we humbly admitted to not speaking very good french, but with the help of our translator and added savvy eye kendra, we all got to talking. when they found out a few of us were american they exclaimed 'george bush,' to which we responded 'noooooooooooooooooooooooo,' with emphatic hand gestures.

the french know how to wear their scarves. the elastic of his jacket and the peek of red from his t-shirt is so classic and 'tricolour.' also loved the freshly pressed shirts coming up the road.

our jaws dropped at the sight of her. she marched across the square with an air of authority from another generation-another world. leather coat, black leather pants, silk scarf, that hat. ...unfortunately we missed a better shot of her shoes-cowboy boots.

meet 'aldo,' someone who attended the soundcheck for French band naast [because we did not see them play properly, we were informed he was a vocalist of sorts hence previous posting saying he was the lead singer]. he's sporting a superb gold-threaded vintage jacket at sound check.

vincent sur le metro-savvy on the road-paris

vincent glided down the platform and we followed. with the help of our lovely translator kendra, we were able to convey our enthusiasm for his sense of style and received permission to take his photograph. his jacket had a marvelous texture which was difficult to capture in the metro lighting.
