this lovely little family strolled, skipped, and glided on their way to the 11 a.m. sunday services at the brompton oratory. savvy loved the children's coats, and the distribution of color across the family reminded us of a sprinkling of confetti. charming. absolutely charming.

suave saint

savvy discovered mr suave outside the ten bells, washing down a hard day's work with a nice, cold pint. upon questioning the origin of his bag, he matter-of-factly answered 'i designed it'. nice. turns out he designs for all saints. hats off to that.

she's from korea. she studies graphic design at lcc, we reallyliked what she was wearing.

camera case love

savvy was lucky to stop this camberwell college of arts student on herhasty shorestich shopping spree. ironically spotted outside of p.r.k.blackmans shoes, she proudly presented us with her beautiful burgundybrogues. the vintage camera case (coming back strong) was also a great choice.

so well. it was a vibrant delight for savvy's eyes.

the waistcoat, the bling, the boots, the grey/black/tan, the blonde hair, the boy had something of the new romantic in him crossed with a dashing urbanite cowboy.

silver wolf

savvy had the privilege of AAA backstage pass to the one and only wolfmother, and mr. andrew stockdale (always a swingin' dresser) wore these stunning silver shoes, apparently picked up in brisbane, australia.

this fashion student of central st. martin's caught our eye with his nifty specs, hat, and casually slick grey layers.

disque jocke

we spotted this bohème francaise in the back room of 'city 16
records', literally glowing between the racks of minimal house and
german techno. her hands moved delicately over the vinyl and her
cheeky smile was a pure treat. salut!

yoshi

we don't really know if that's his name, but it seemed to suit this slick little example of japanese urban chic, blazing through the london crowds.

the three piece suit

this regal gentleman and his beautifully tailored suit stopped savvy dead in their tracks. benson & clegg, who hold two Royal Warrants (one for King George VI and one for H.R.H. The Prince of Wales), are his tailors and the creators of this wonderful suit.

this lovely parisian woman needed directions. savvy assisted but with the ulterior motive of getting a snap. the buttons were especially fun, like they should have been a 70's light fixture in a swingers hotel.

PJ

sighted: the old mixer, inverness street, camden, london, NW1, wednesday 31 january 2007, 6:45 p.m.

savvy could tell he was irish without even speaking to him. this hunch was confirmed when PJ introduced himself, and said he was from county mayo, to be exact. savvy has some experience with county mayo, thus the conversation flowed nicely enough while we dropped surnames, place names, and exchanged genealogical histories, we covered the whole of the country and sailed into boston. although at first shy, spry, and cutting, PJ warmed to savvy's friendly ways, offering cigarettes and the like. when he lit up, his hands-blackened from jackhammering concrete all day-held the cigarette like pierce brosnan or peter o'toole. if you hadn't noticed already, they don't smoke like the rest of us. PJ is not like the rest of us. he's something special, which is why he's savvy.

moshi moshi

this sharp little art student stood out from the thousands of rather boring people shuffling about during the luncheon rush. she cut her hair herself. jealous much? we say yes.
